Airport

The Bratislava airport is called M. R. Štefánik Airport. Since June 29, 2010 it has been reconstructed into a modern facility and it looks great. It is the main airport in Bratislava and serves: Czech Airlines, Ryan Air, Danube Wings, LOT Polish Airlines, and Sun D’or.

Most travelers in Europe fly with Ryan Air to Bratislava. The low-cost airline is cheaper when you book way in advance due to Ryan Air’s seat sales, so it is best to frequently check their Ryanair homepage. If you get lucky during their seat sale, you could get a flight from Dublin, Ireland or London to Bratislava from €20.00 to €50.00 taxes included.

A tip: If you fly with Ryan Air, there are no seat assignments, so you can sit anywhere you like when you board the aircraft.
