Prices for Food and Drinks
In restaurants the prices for drinks and meals are different depending where you go. The classier the restaurant the more expensive food and drinks will be.

Prices at bars
Usually, in the centre a small beer costs €0.70 (0.3 liter). For a large beer
it costs from €1 to €2 (0.5 liter). Usually €1.30 is the price of a large draft
beer. Some bottled beers will cost from €1.50 to €3.00. A glass of wine €1.20
€1.50.Usually cocktails in the centre cost €2.00 – €5.00.
Chicken dishes are from €4.50 Steak and grill specialties from €7.00.
Supermarket prices
The main supermarkets in Bratislava are Billa and Tesco. Carrefour is available at the Polus shopping centre. Around the city there are many local stores called ‘Potraviny’ which carry food. Basic food staples bread, milk, and eggs cost below €2 each. Cans of beers €0.75 – €1.50/each. Bottles of wine €1.50 – €10.00.

Hello!
Can you recommend a cheap place for a compleeted to leave in walking distance from the old town? We dont nerd any kind og luxury, but we would prefer to have our own room and shower.
